Well I am just bursting at the seams all ready and waiting to get to know all of you! Some of you I have already been acquainted with, whether it be in real life and/or through our amazing blog community, but some of you I have yet to get the pleasure of getting to know.
Now as you all know, this challenge is of a 16 week duration. Weight loss efforts are often a long term commitment, but for this challenge I think it's important that we stay focused on just these 16 weeks. Keep your eye on the prize ladies. That's right, our entire team is all ladies! Lynn's team has the men. So that may mean that we'll have to work extra hard to keep our numbers up! But one thing's for sure is that they are outnumbered!
The main and most important thing that we should expect from each other is that we are giving it our very best effort. Yes, your weigh-in result is technically what is important when your goal is to lose weight, but there will be times for all of us when we get a less than satisfactory result and if that happens, you are not letting your team down if you have given it 110%. Kapeesh?! 110% effort is what we expect.
Now there is the hard part! When are we actually giving it 110% and when are we whining and dressing up excuses as something else? Sometimes it's easy to trick ourselves with the amazing justifications we can come up with for some things! Am I right?!
So in order to be able to call each other out on excuses when we see them, we need to spill our secrets and tell us your tricks! Tell everyone what your most common excuse tends to be! "Too tired," "not enough time," those tend to be the most common ones for sure. But we can be pretty creative about it, so I hope that you'll all keep your detective hats on to be able to spot excuses when you see them and point them out to one another. Sometimes we don't even realize that we're making an excuse!
But since we're all on the kick ass "A-team" as some of you have been calling us, we don't have to worry about any of that too much because we're all super duper awesome health and fitness buffs who walk the walk as well as talk the talk, right?! ;D
So now it's time everyone to officially kick off our challenge and give it all ya got!!!
