What's your vehicle of choice on your journey?
Mine:
I started on Weight Watchers Flex. Lost 40 pounds but realized I was obsessed with points. From there I moved to Core. I lost 20 more pounds but then the scale just stopped. I realized I needed to take it to the next level.
I started educating myself about my body's needs. Now I use NutriMirror to track my calories in, calories out, nutrient intake, sodium levels, cholesterol, carbs, ... everything.
I joined this challenge because I'm tired of being stagnant. It's time to lose the last 25.

I started on WW and used that for my first 20 lbs. It was a great starting "Point" (lame pun TOTALLY intended) but not something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
I spent 3 years as a Nutrition major (long story), so these days I trust my knowledge to help me lose weight. I try hard to only eat whole, natural foods and make all of my own bread products etc. from scratch.
I joined this challenge because my issue isn't so much with food (anymore) as it is with exercise. I've been working hard to become more active and this gives me a little push to do so (and get rid of the other 18-or-so lbs I want to lose!).

I'm doing WW. I joined 1/2/08 and lost 25lbs through July. Then I lost my job, got a new one and the lack of time created a scenario where I gained it all back. I finally went back on December 3rd. Down 14lbs since then.

I am extremly A- type personality, so WW is the best for me , as I love writing down the points, looking things up ect.

I joined WW in November 2003 and reached goal weight January 2006. I maintained for two years and then I succumbed to the old emotional eating habits.
I'm still attending WW meetings, but I'm tracking what I eat on calorieking.com. I try to eat whole, natural foods--I ordered the Clean Eating Diet & Cookbook with an Amazon gift certificate I got for Christmas. I LOVE the Clean Eating Magazine!

I count calories using the PC version of Fitday.com . Talking with people online is as close as I've ever come to any kind of meeting.

I am following the WW plan, but I don't go to meetings or anything. Just trying to do things on my own with the support of all you wonderful folks at the BLBE.

I am a three time weight watchers drop out. I also tend to get too wrapped up in points but I also find it to be the only program that works for me. It has taught me a lot about healthy eating and moderation (big fan of moderation). I am back on ww, I started just before Christmas and I have lost about 6 lbs. I am a really slow loser and I tend to lose every other week as opposed to a little every week. SO don't get too mad at me for not losing one week!! My goal is 20lbs during this challenge, I cannot wait!

I started WW Online in October and have lost 30 pounds by counting points. I plan on keeping with the points. If its not broken, don't fix it type. I did find Calorie Count which is the closest site to WW but is free. WW Online is $17 a month.
I'm also right now reading Lisa Sansone's book Eat Smart, Walk Strong- The Secrets to Effortless Weight Loss. It is a very good book with a lot of commen sense in black and white. It is a 6-wk habit program with challenges/missions for that wk. I highly recommend checking it out.

I have done almost every diet known to man over the years, and I have always found WW meetings to be the best bet for me. I've done FLEX in the past, but found that the CORE program (no pt counting, mainly eating whole foods) is a great fit for my body. WW made some changes in December, so it is no longer called CORE, its called the 'Simply Filling Technique'. It doesn't matter to me what they call it - I call it WORKING!! I joined in September and so far I am down 31.8 lbs, BMI went from 39 to 32 and I have lost weight each and every week (although, I think this week will be different )

I'm counting calories and getting my body moving. I have A LOT to lose so may have to mix things up a bit when the scale doesn't move anymore.
I purchased a book by Jillian Michaels (I can't remember what it's called). I was hoping to be motivated but the book says not to use it unless you only have 20 pounds or less to lose. DEFINITELY NOT ME.
Anyway, I gave it to my mom and she has been soaking it up. She just told me that in a week she has lost 5lbs by just following the eating suggestions. My mom is tiny 5'9 and weighs 145. She likes to weigh 135. I'm not sure what the workout has you do but she goes to the gym anyway. For those of you that are stuck and just have a little more to lose check out Jillian's book

I lost 39 lbs 7 yrs ago just by watching my calories and exercise. I put 26lbs back on, this time I will be doing pretty much the same only I am going to try to eat healthier. Sticking with it as much as possible.
I find it very difficult to keep myself on track when I have 2 children that are very active in sports. We are at the rink 5 days out of 7. Usually on the go every weekend with hockey. Whether it is tournments or games all around the Maritimes.
