Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone else participating in the challenge is over 40? Most people seem to be in their 20s or 30s, and I know I have some different issues now than I did then.
Merci, ChezJulie

Hey ChezJulie!
I just turned 42 and I totally understand what you mean about having different weight-loss issues now compared to ten+ years ago.

Moi! I'm 46. I used to be able to drop weight easily (2-3 pounds some weeks). Now, I've spent 4 months losing 10 lbs. So frustrating. However, if I don't keep at it, it will never come off.

waving from behind my screen. I am 50, going through menopause, and every rule you have learned about weight loss in your 20's and 30's gangs up, screams that you only thought you had a clue and proves itself contrary. I think weight loss in your teens and 20's is eat less, move more. In your 30's it becomes eat this and not that, and move in this way. Your 40's it becomes eat whatever is not bouncing or political and move according to your hot flashes. In your 50's ,I am beginning to believe that weight loss involves eating your scale and running from the scale police. It does not follow the normal rules, makes no sense, is like nailing jello to a tree and can be the most frustrating thing you have ever dealt with. So advice- do it while you are young and keep it off !

I find that the limitations of my body make it harder. Because of some joint issues, I can only do low impact exercise - no Jillian's 30 Day Shred for me!
