I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and is ready to kick off this challenge "officially" today! As of tomorrow, whenever you WI this week, please email it to me right away. We apologize for any confusion with the WI's in the start of the challenge, but we're all ready to rock n' roll now!
Soooo, I thought that I'd start this thread for our first official week and see what kinds of things you guys are doing this week on the exercise front. Do you have a gym routine set and ready? Are you running? What is your run schedule this week, if you are? Are you attending some exercise classes?
What's on tap for exercise this week? How busy is your schedule and how are you going to accommodate it?
Let's get organized to make it happen ladies!!! ;D

GAME ON!!
I did a 10K today (with a team Lynn member <gasp!>) and tomorrow is aquasize for an hour. Tuesday will be a workout at Curves and maybe a quick 20 min run. Wednesday is aquasize again. Sunday long run.
Everyday includes a 20 minute walk to work, 20 minutes home and then Monday & Wednesdays will also have an additional 20 minute walk to French class. Whew!
Oh, and I practice yoga daily at home--anywhere from 20 minutes in the morning to just over an hour, depending on my mood!
H =)

Well I work 3-11 all week so what I have planned for exercise this week is to go to the gym for 35-45 minutes before I go to work. Bike on my own bike I have for home for 15-20 min. each day before I go to the gym.

This week I'm working on a 2 mile walk/jog every weekday. So, I've got to toss in some meditation and stretching in with that, or I'll be walking like a rusty tin man. lol Since my husband got a "Perfect Pullup" for Christmas, I'm going to work diligently with that this week, trying to work my upper-body good. Lastly, since everyone is so excited to do workouts with Jillian Michaels, I'm going to grab one of her videos off OnDemand and make a crazy fool out of myself in the living room. *laughs*

That's the plan and I will stick to it. No wishy washy "I hope I can do it" for me ;-D (like I normally am)

Shirley: I think you have to "register" with the forum and set up your profile for that to change.
Sandy: Be prepared to love yoga! I never thought I would "look forward" to doing a form of exercise in my life! Awesome!
Squishy: *laughs* I'm feeling a bit like that rusty tinman myself today after breaking in the new elliptical last night! I've heard good things about that DVD btw, although I havent the foggiest about what it's like myself :-)
anewnatalie: 4 times, that's excellent!
kadee29: WOW that is going to be TOUGH to compete with!! WOWZA GIRl! 9km???!!! AND all of that!! You are making some serious progress!!!

You have a choice - you can throw in the towel or use it to wipe the sweat off your face.

I posted my week plan in my blog. I did 15 km yesterday (Take that Team Lynn!) and the rest is 2 weight training sessions, 1 yoga session, 3 other running sessions and MAYBE spin class if me legs can take it.

Hi all, I have my trainer Tuesday and Thursday at the gym. Monday (today) & Friday I will go to the gym for an extended Elliptical session (I can only do 20 minutes or so before the trainer or I'm half-dead). Pre- Christmas when I was doing really well with exercise I was getting up (in the dark) at 6am and going for an hour long walk. My problem is it's a bit icy now and I'm afraid to be out myself in case I fall. I'm going to try and get a walk in right after work (while light) a couple times this week.

Ok a fellow team member did a 5K I am going to try it tonight on the treadmill. I will tell you how that goes...if I live to tell the tale here is the rest of my week Elliptical for 5 minutes treadmill 1.5 miles bike for 3 miles Ellipctical for 5 minutes treadmill for 1.5 miles bike for 3 miles Elliptical for 5 minutes I can't do the elliptical for more than 5 minutes at a time yet that thing is a killer.
I also do 4 miles of walk away the pounds DVD in the morning so I normally do around 15 miles a day of exercise.
On the weekend I will just be walking 3 miles at the outdoor track because my gym hours don't work for me on the weekends.
Our team rocks!!!

WOW ladies, you are all exercising machines!
My goal is to get 10,000+ steps in each day on my pedometer. To get that done I usually have to do my 20min W.A.T.P DVD and then walk for 20-30min outside.
Friday I have a re-check with my doctor to go over EKG and X-ray. I'm seriously hoping nothing is wrong with my heart and that it's just pinched nerves or something since that is the side I've carried all of my 7 babies on. Once I get the green light from my doc I'll be pushing myself harder.
YAY TEAM! Let's KICK IT!
